To wrap up the JUCC 50th anniversary celebration, the JUCC50 Gala Dinner was held on 2 December 2021 at Choi Fook Royal Banquet at Tsim Sha Tsui East. We were honoured to have Dr David Chung, JP, Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology of the Innovation and Technology Bureau (ITB) to officiate and speak at the opening ceremony. Among other Guests of Honour were Mr Tony Wong, JP, Deputy Government Chief Information Officer of the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) and Dr Ted Suen, MH, Chief Information Officer of MTR Corporation.
The dinner attracted 160 guests, including current and former JUCC members and friends as well as sponsors. It provided a great opportunity for everyone to mingle and share recent updates as they chatted and chilled during the cocktail session and dinner with live band music throughout the evening.
The JUCC50 Gala Dinner would not have been such a great success without the overwhelming support from our Guests of Honour, JUCC members and sponsors. We would like to thank them for their continued support and look forward to their keen participation in future JUCC activities and events.
